It is the most exciting composers calendar in the world, and it is also available in two completely different variants. One is the freshly printed calendar (... hot off the press), we have selected twelve out of 36 composers for you. The price: Take a quick look here. Variant 1 is the following: We have, so to speak, decided for you and selected twelve composers who are allowed in the calendar. The variant 2, however, is the one that this page is actually all about. And this variant 2 is exactly € 10* more expensive (... check, what's that in many currencies with a click here), regardless of the size and the number of calendars you order: With this variant, you choose the twelve composers of your choice from 36 experts. And we will "tinker" your calendar. Actually ... it is not so complicated at all. By the way: The 10 Euro mentioned include VAT. To the shop.
Yes, that is indeed the case. There are exactly 1,251,677,700 ways you can personalize your composers calendar with the following offer. And this is ... what you can not really imagine at all now?
Okay, how did it start? With the idea of offering great composers calendars – and not just one, but several – we were already looking for creative options a long time ago. And we "googled" for artists, and for female artists. And we finally found what we were looking for. One female artist painted them so cool – our desired composers – and we were so thrilled that we then asked for a whole 36 composer paintings. Because we wanted to offer not only one composers calendar in this style with them, but three from that point on ( ... 3 x 12).
But what turned out? How should we rank these musicians? The best twelve in the first composers calendar. The second twelve, then perhaps into the calendar of the "next best" composers? And finally, "the rest" into a third composers calendar? Unthinkable. Alternatively, of course, one could mix quite motley, but then one music fan would miss Beethoven, but does not want Bach in the calendar. And Mozart is missing, but one could do without Wagner. Or Puccini is in and Chopin is out. So that wasn't an option either.
A very cool idea finally prevailed internally: That was, our offer to compile your own twelve favorite tone poets – your gentlemen compositors – into your very own "Best of Composers Calendar." Of course, the fun stops where the twelve are later pictured: Beethoven in January, Bach in March and Sousa in October would be too elaborate after all. But to extract the desired twelve, that already seemed realizable. So: Unfortunately, we cannot implement an order. And the calendar title page is also unfortunately not variable.
And if you're already planning something like that, you might want to know how many calendars that might make. And ... if you used to – in your school days – calculate far, really far below average, then you better ask for support in math today. That's how my husband describes himself. He, that's my husband, actually wanted to know it exactly and he himself "calculated" times simply 36 x 36 to find out how many variants 36 composers, mixed, make. And received exactly 1,296 different variants as a result. He – my husband – was already thrilled. Our best friend, however, overlooked the limitation with all composers on very specific monthly sheets and calculated – in seconds – more than a billion options ... and he was absolutely right! What a difference in results.
Teachers – preferably math teachers – were in demand from this moment on and the colleague of a dear Bach fan and friend in the project calculated without further ado only 153 alternatives, only to improve herself a few minutes later and state the exact number of different composers calendars in this style alone as 1,251,677,700. A billion, 251 thousand and "a few squeezed". If you add up all the combinations, but not that Vivaldi could find himself on the May calendar page and also alternatively in December.
So ... do you know someone who recalculates this, who then also raises an objection and additionally still comprehensibly shows why the result is different? Then he deserves a composers calendar. Free of charge, even postage and shipping are included. DIN A3. In Germany. In other countries S&H applies. And of course you will get one as well. However, legal recourse is not possible.
